Calling All Lightworkers To Help Heal #StandingRock, the #Environment and Ourselves


Healing Energy Still Needed at Standing Rock and Around the World

Although many consider December 5 a day of victory for the protesters at Standing Rock with the easement denial of the Dakota Access Pipeline, protectors and natives warn that this is only the beginning. The same day the easement was denied, Energy Transfer Partners released a statement basically disregarding everything Obama said.

Gene Stone, a 70-year-old environmentalist, a descendent of a Cheyenne grandmother, and a veteran, is still at Standing Rock, according to a report in OCWEEKLY. He says he is mostly concerned about the President-elect’s impact because, “Now that someone is taking over the presidency who’s built a group … who don’t believe in climate change, it’s very crucial to be aware of the oneness with all parts of creation. That is why this movement is so important. We are supposed to be the caretakers of this planet.”

My last several posts have offered advice on how to send prayers and healing energy to Standing Rock and other situations and people who need love and assistance. Now this…

Right now, all Lightworkers are working overtime to hold the space for an easy transition into this new way of being. Who are the Lightworkers? If you are reading this, then you are, of course.

Every Being on the planet has been called to do what they came here to do. You are present at this time to fulfill an agreement, and you must not shirk your responsibilities.

Yes, it is daunting. Yes, you are tired. Yes, you thought you were done being a revolutionary, but alas, your work is not done. You have been called to action, called to wake up, and called to join together to fight the good fight. The fight for love.

Who would believe the fight for love could be so challenging?

You must first remember that you are not alone. You are never alone. You must know it, you must believe it, you must live it, and you must breathe it. You are never, ever alone.

Secondly, you can truly help all those you are connected to. Who are you connected to? EVERYONE! We are all connected. We are ONE.

Do you have to quit your job? No. Do you have to join a club? No. Do you have to change who you are? No. You simply need to continue to be your true authentic self. Practice self-care. Nurture yourself. Take time for yourself. You are harnessing your energy to stand strong. You are a Lightworker, after all. You’ve got this!

How can we help each other and the planet?

Take a deep breath. This is a breath for you. Acknowledge that you matter. Acknowledge that your voice is important. Acknowledge that you are being heard.

Next, take a deep breath for everyone else. For those who feel they cannot breathe right now. Take a breath and acknowledge that you are helping them breathe. We are in this together.

Now, in your mind’s eye, acknowledge that love is everywhere. It is in your breath, your friends, your family, your neighborhood, your city, your state, your country, your planet.

As you picture this blanket of love, fully embrace that it warms your heart, your soul, your purpose, and it is spreading out and comforting all of us on the planet and the planet itself.

We are ONE. And we are powerful. We are an energy source like no other and when plugged in, the vibration can be raised.

It starts with YOU. You have the power.

Breathe in love for yourself. Breathe out peace, calm, and security. Breathe in love for everyone. Breathe out a blanket of love keeping us safe and protected.

You are not alone.

You are a Lightworker.

Many people would agree that prayer alone will not solve all of our problems, but to the water protectors at Standing Rock, direct action is considered sacred and prayer can be action, taking a stand for protecting what is sacred, together.

How can prayer help such a dire situation where peaceful protesters are being violently assaulted by local, state and federal agents?

PRAYER IS ENERGY HEALING IN ACTION

Do you get discouraged if your prayers aren’t immediately answered? The problem may be that we are praying for God or a higher being to do something which it is not in its nature to do… take direct action vs. inspire and guide us to make the right choices.

Serge Kahili King, Ph.D., teacher of the Hawaiian Huna Philosophy and head of Aloha International wrote On Prayer at www.Huna.org:

In prayer we are trying to do something or to get something done, either for ourselves or for someone else. We pray to get an effect, and since an effect is involved, energy has to be involved, and all prayer involves the transmission of energy, [in this case toward the people and situation at Standing Rock].

In the prayer form known as the Lord’s Prayer that is found in the Christian Bible, Jesus states that we should ask for energy (“our daily bread”), cleansing (forgiveness), and guidance. A little further on in the chapter of Luke (11), Jesus makes the famous statement about, “Ask, and it shall be given unto you….” This has been taken to mean that you can ask God for anything you like and you will get it, although in practice it obviously doesn’t work out that way. The reason is revealed only a few lines further. What is to be given is the Holy Spirit. In other words, energy, ideas, and inspiration. We find this same idea in the Old Testament, in Sufi, Hindu, and Chinese writings, as well as in Hawaiian – namely that what we receive from above is the wisdom and the power to act. But it is we who must do the acting.

This brings us to the point of fact that there are essentially two types of prayer: vertical and horizontal. By vertical prayer, I mean that which is directed toward God or the Higher Self or toward someone in spirit. From this type of prayer we can only get inspiration, knowledge, understanding, and energy. Note carefully that the guidance we may get is in the form of ideas and inspiration. We do not actually get the kind of guidance that tells us exactly what to do and how to do it. That kind of guidance implies the making of choices, and that is our sole prerogative.

Horizontal prayer is that directed toward our everyday life, either to heal or help ourselves or others, or to change the future. This type of prayer is accomplished by us, and its effectiveness is determined by our beliefs and by the amount of energy we put into it. We each create our own experience of reality, the circumstances we find ourselves in, and through prayer properly understood we can change those circumstances. But it is the individual who changes the circumstances, not God and not the High Self. From them we only get the tools; they will not do the work for us.

Please join in prayer for Standing Rock so that all involved get the guidance to resolve the situation in a peaceful, environmentally-conscious manner. And please invite your friends to help positively impact the momentum of Standing Rock.

MINDFULNESS MEDITION – SAVORING CHOCOLATE


Zb) Smelling ChocolateIf you’ve received chocolate in your Easter basket, or have a craving for it at any time (and who doesn’t?) here’s a way to use it as a healing tool.

I hope you enjoy this Chocolate Meditation from shaman, Stewart Blackburn, author of The Skills of Pleasure.

Take a small piece of the chocolate, hold it in your hands and give thanks for it. Feel its shape and texture. Then smell it. Take your time and get as much sensory information from it as you can without putting it into your mouth. Note how you feel in anticipation of eating this chocolate.

Let each breath help you to relax into this experience. This about being as thoroughly in your body as you can, present to all you perceive.

With great consciousness and flair, put the chocolate into your mouth and focus your full attention on the sensations you experience in your mouth. Feel it melt and move around in your mouth. Be aware of the sweetness on your tongue, the creaminess in your mouth, and all of the delicious flavors present. Prolong the experience as much as you can while being aware of how it makes you feel emotionally. See how deeply you can enjoy this chocolate, from savoring just one small piece.

Feed the Third Eye Chakra with Brain Food for Inspiration and Intuition

The Third Eye Chakra, the 6th chakra, gives us insight, premonitions, psychic abilities. Through the Third Eye Chakra you may connect to the higher self to seek and receive inner guidance. Your psychic and telepathic abilities may become heightened, and you’ll be able to trust your inner wisdom.

Signs of an unbalanced Third Eye Chakra include emotional or mental issues such as fuzzy thinking or confusion, or physical issues such as headaches, sinusitis, vision problems, nightmares, and anxiety disorders. Addictions to foods, and issues with weight, can be directly related to the Third Eye Chakra, especially when we’re addicted to foods that stimulate the brain with sugar and caffeine, such as colas and chocolate.

When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced, we have an ability to think clearly, trust our inner wisdom and have a healthy reliance on our intuitive powers.

Third Eye Chakra balance is intimately tied into the health of the pineal gland, which controls our entire hormonal system. If you overeat or make poor food choices when you’re over-stressed or in a bad mood, you’ll want to seek other ways to soothe yourself such as yoga and meditation.

Add the Bridge pose to your yoga repertoire to balance the Third Eye Chakra, as well as Kneeling Yoga Mudra to unite the head and heart and bring a fresh supply of oxygen-carrying blood to the brain. Kneeling down, clasp the hands behind you as you touch your chin toward your chest, bending at the waist and leaning forward until your head touches the floor.

Sitting up, also try the Bumble Bee Breath, inhaling deeply then exhaling with your lips vibrating with the sound “hmmmmmmmm.”

Third Eye Chakra Visualization:

Breathe in the color indigo, a very dark blue, into the center of your forehead. Here we return to the magic of childhood, to unlimited possibilities, to skills we have always had but which were pushed out of sight. Awaken and clarify your inner vision to have a clear picture of what you want your life to be. Also awaken to a different kind of seeing, clairvoyance or clear sight, that allows you to look inside and beyond the limits of time and space.

Foods, especially that share colors with the chakras, carry vibrations that can activate or balance your chakras…

Third Eye Chakra Healing Foods: The Third Eye Chakra vibrates to the color indigo, a dark purplish blue. Purple foods such as grapes, blueberries, blackberries and raisins not only resonate with a similar color, but they contain antioxidants known as anthocyanidins that protect the brain and nervous system from stress. Red wine, in moderation, is touted for its health benefits. Other purple foods that nourish the Third Eye Chakra include eggplant, purple cabbage, purple kale, purple potatoes or sweet potatoes, as well as all types of stimulating spices.

Chocolate, unless you’re a sugar addict (which is more common than you might think) can help revive a brain taxed by overthinking or overuse of psychic skills – savor a small piece of dark chocolate, chewing it slowly and consciously, for best effect. If you do have uncontrollable cravings for sugars and simple carbohydrates (everything from cookies, cake and chocolate to bread and muffins), you may need to go on a “sugar detox” to remove the “Sugar Blues,” known since this book was written decades ago. Our brains are stimulated and can become addicted to sugar, especially when combined with unhealthy fats and salt in processed foods designed to make us eat more than just one. In this case, choose the purple/blue berries listed above as a substitute for processed sweet foods in your diet, and you’ll be better able to stave off uncontrollable cravings.

Third Eye Chakra Healing Activities:

Meditating for a few minutes before eating is wonderful to clear your mind and let your intuition guide your food choices. When I suffered from heavy menstrual bleeding, I found myself reaching over to eat a bite of my partner’s steak. He was shocked, as I had been a vegetarian for years. But my inner wisdom aimed my fork toward what my body needed, until I could address the cause of the heavy bleeding.

Practice using your intuition when food shopping – what food or drinks call out to you? If you find yourself craving a particular food too often, check your nutritional needs in case your body is giving you a signal you need to pay attention to. In case you have food sensitivities, keep a food journal to watch how your mind and body react after eating certain foods. Do you get fatigued, depressed, or have any physical aches and pains?

When we balance our chakras, we craft our lives the way we want them to be, rather than living in constant reaction to forces outside of us. These spirals of energy are wheels that heal, feeding the body good energy and profoundly affecting our metabolism, as well as emotions, sensations and behaviors.
