Calling All Lightworkers To Help Heal #StandingRock, the #Environment and Ourselves

Healing Energy Still Needed at Standing Rock and Around the World

Although many consider December 5 a day of victory for the protesters at Standing Rock with the easement denial of the Dakota Access Pipeline, protectors and natives warn that this is only the beginning. The same day the easement was denied, Energy Transfer Partners released a statement basically disregarding everything Obama said.

Gene Stone, a 70-year-old environmentalist, a descendent of a Cheyenne grandmother, and a veteran, is still at Standing Rock, according to a report in OCWEEKLY. He says he is mostly concerned about the President-elect’s impact because, “Now that someone is taking over the presidency who’s built a group … who don’t believe in climate change, it’s very crucial to be aware of the oneness with all parts of creation. That is why this movement is so important. We are supposed to be the caretakers of this planet.”

My last several posts have offered advice on how to send prayers and healing energy to Standing Rock and other situations and people who need love and assistance. Now this…

Harriette Knight, a Master Healer, Psychic Medium and Author, reminds us all how to be Lightworkers:

lightworker-candle

Right now, all Lightworkers are working overtime to hold the space for an easy transition into this new way of being. Who are the Lightworkers? If you are reading this, then you are, of course.

Every Being on the planet has been called to do what they came here to do. You are present at this time to fulfill an agreement, and you must not shirk your responsibilities.

Yes, it is daunting. Yes, you are tired. Yes, you thought you were done being a revolutionary, but alas, your work is not done. You have been called to action, called to wake up, and called to join together to fight the good fight. The fight for love.

Who would believe the fight for love could be so challenging?

You must first remember that you are not alone. You are never alone. You must know it, you must believe it, you must live it, and you must breathe it. You are never, ever alone.

Secondly, you can truly help all those you are connected to. Who are you connected to? EVERYONE! We are all connected. We are ONE.

Do you have to quit your job? No. Do you have to join a club? No. Do you have to change who you are? No. You simply need to continue to be your true authentic self. Practice self-care. Nurture yourself. Take time for yourself. You are harnessing your energy to stand strong. You are a Lightworker, after all. You’ve got this!

How can we help each other and the planet?

Take a deep breath. This is a breath for you. Acknowledge that you matter. Acknowledge that your voice is important. Acknowledge that you are being heard.

Next, take a deep breath for everyone else. For those who feel they cannot breathe right now. Take a breath and acknowledge that you are helping them breathe. We are in this together.

Now, in your mind’s eye, acknowledge that love is everywhere. It is in your breath, your friends, your family, your neighborhood, your city, your state, your country, your planet.

As you picture this blanket of love, fully embrace that it warms your heart, your soul, your purpose, and it is spreading out and comforting all of us on the planet and the planet itself.

We are ONE. And we are powerful. We are an energy source like no other and when plugged in, the vibration can be raised.

It starts with YOU. You have the power.

Breathe in love for yourself. Breathe out peace, calm, and security. Breathe in love for everyone. Breathe out a blanket of love keeping us safe and protected.

You are not alone.

You are a Lightworker.

Sending Healing to #StandingRock with Hawaiian Shaman Serge Kahili King

This is the second in a series of posts of how we can help the people and the situation at Standing Rock, where indigenous people from all over the world, along with supporters, are peacefully protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. These protesters have been brutally treated by local, state and national law enforcement fighters. But they continue to stand to protect the local tribe’s sacred land, as well as the cleanliness of their water for the next seven generations.

GLOBAL EFFORT TO HEAL THE SITUATION AT STANDING ROCK

aloha-intlThis past weekend, there was a global prayer effort to support a peaceful resolution at Standing Rock. I met with a group of Hawaiian Huna (ancient healing philosphy) practitioners led by Hawaiian shaman, Serge Kahili King, Ph.D., of Aloha International, and discussed ways we can all use to send healing to this and other people and situations.

Dr. King shared the following technique for distant healing, similar to one he recently wrote about in his weekly post, Words from Serge, on Shamanic Healing in the Wake of a Disaster.

HEALING IN THE SYMBOLIC WORLD BY SERGE KAHILI KING:

A technique I use often is to ask for a symbol of the problem and once something appears in my mind, I accept it in whatever form it takes and proceed to change it. I might improve it, change the shape, the color, the material, almost sculpt with it.

For instance, in doing it right now for Standing Rock, I’ve asked for a symbol and I get a bunch of rock spires all tumbled in a heap. You don’t have to know what the symbol means. In this case it is obvious, but it could be anything.

rocksI use whatever comes to mind to change the symbol of the problem – in this case, people, cranes, and bulldozers – to pull all those rocks upright and position them until I get a big sigh of relief or some pleasurable sensation. This tells me that my subconscious (or ku as we call it in Huna) has connected and something has happened.

The main thing is to take the symbol as it appears and change the symbol itself until you get a good feeling. I also trust that there will be change of some kind, but of course, probably not everything at once. All of these things are filled with tension in layers. You can work on each layer until you get the feeling that something has changed for the better… either between people, the situation or on a higher level.

This work is based on the idea that everything is connected, so that changing one thing changes every related thing, like the butterfly in Japan whose flight influences a storm in the Rocky Mountains.

Sending Prayers and Healing Energy to #Standing Rock

screen-shot-2016-11-30-at-1-43-49-pmAlthough there’s been virtually no news coverage, I hope you are aware that indigenous people from all over the world, along with supporters, have encamped at Standing Rock in North Dakota and are being brutally treated by local, state and national law enforcement fighters. But the peaceful protesters continue to stand to protect the local tribe’s sacred land, as well as the cleanliness of their water for the next seven generations. Both are threatened by the Dakota Access Pipeline, which would transport oil derived from fracking beneath several rivers across North America.

prayer

Angel of Grace by Maya Sorensen

Many people would agree that prayer alone will not solve all of our problems, but to the water protectors at Standing Rock, direct action is considered sacred and prayer can be action. People from all over the globe joined together last Saturday to send prayers and healing energy to the protestors and the situation at Standing Rock.

As a chakra healer, I opened my heart chakra and visualized a green glow of love and harmony projected over all involved, to help them find a solution. For the protestors, I encased them in white light with green hearts to convert the energy coming toward them into love.

Distant Healing & Prayer – Proof that it Works

In Healing Words, Larry Dossey, M.D., reviewed over 100 experiments on the effects of prayer and visualization. More than half showed an effect on everything from seed germination to wound healing.

In several experiments, volunteers were able to stimulate or retard the growth of bacteria and fungi from 15 miles away.

In another study, volunteers were asked to visualize volunteers in another place become calmer or more agitated. Meanwhile, the “receivers” were hooked up to biofeedback-type equipment to gauge their reactions. The results showed that the “influencers” exerted a statistically significant effect on the receivers’ moods.

These experiments have shown that prayer can take many forms. Results occurred not only when people prayed for explicit outcomes. In fact, the experiments showed that just praying for the best outcome was even more powerful than when specific results were held in mind.

A simple attitude of empathy, caring, and compassion for the person, entity or situation, with mindfulness and intention to help, seemed to set the stage for healing.

Next Global Prayer Day: December 4

To help achieve a peaceful solution to the situation at Standing Rock, please join the second globally synchronized prayer which will be on December 4. Another will be held on United Nations Human Rights Day, December 10. According to the UN, the connection between sacred sites, water, cultural preservation, and the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, treaties, and national and international law, must be honored and respected as basic human rights. In the next several blogs, I will share other distant healing techniques used by shamans and energy healers that can be used for situations like Standing Rock and any others needing healing. If you’d like to share your technique(s), we welcome all input. Just email me at Becca@theChakras.org.
