Most people recommend meditating first thing in the morning, before you enter the craziness of the day ahead. But do you want to get out of your warm, comfy bed to sit in meditation?

Here’s a suggestion on meditating in bed from my friend, Mike Hughes, who lives in the U.K., a cold climate most of the time:

Meditating while lying in bed may result in falling back asleep, so prop yourself up with some extra pillows and sit up in bed in warmth and comfort.

But, if you are like me and are lucky enough to live in Hawaii, I love to go out to the oceanfront and watch the sun rise as I meditate.
